Description:

Provides food pantry and clothes closet for residents of zip codes 38127 and 38128 who are in need. Also provides a Hair Ministry the second Thursday of the month at the TN School of Cosmetology at 550 Alabama Avenue; must show proof of need, identify yourself as a referral from the Bethel Church of Christ Outreach Ministry and pay a $5.00/membership fee (this fee will provide free hairdressing at the Cosmetology School for one year; preference is given to seniors and persons showing proof of financial hardship). Must sign in by 8:30 am on the second Thursday of the month at the Cosmetology School to get the reduced rate hairdressing services. Church also provides free marriage counseling the first and second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm. Summer Food Program will start May 31, 2018, 8:30 am to 1:00 pm Monday - Friday. All meals are free for children 18 and under. This program will last until July 27, 2018.
