Description:

Provides a variety of services to the elderly, low income, and underprivileged in Bradley County. Services at this center include home delivered meals for seniors, weatherizing, low income home emergency assistance program, and commodity distribution. Provides supervision for congregate meals at senior centers. Also manages the Cleveland homeless emergency shelter at a nearby site.

Three month program begins in June and continues through the second week of August. Provides nutritious meals to children up to age 18. Operates five days per week. Contact Jacqueline Westfield.

Intake Process:

Clients requesting utility payment assistance must provide the following:

-Drivers license or photo ID
-Social Security card for all household members
-Current energy bill
-12 month history of all household income (last 8 paystubs if paid weekly or last 4 paystubs if paid biweekly)
-Social Security benefits, child support, Families First, SSI, Retirement income documentation - must reference current calendar year on documentation.
