Program provides temporary emergency shelter for families without resources for housing, food, and medical services; 24-hour intake and up to 30 day stay for up to 5 Families. Program also provides short-term casework intervention to families experiencing crisis in travel for community adjustment. Program Focus: Provide immediate short-term shelter, counseling, and case management services for homeless families to resolve a crisis situation. Program staff assists clients with obtaining affordable housing, employment and medical services in order to assist them in alleviating a person in crisis. Program is accredited by the National Council on Accreditation.

8:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., M-F; (calls after hours to: Shelter operates 24/7.

Report to shelter. Assessment.

Families in crisis who are homeless and have inadequate resources to obtain housing.
Families only program
Will not admit if under the influence of controlled substances, or has a history of violence in the shelter or is a single male, non ambulatory or is unable to complete activities of daily living.
