Description:

Provides temporary limited financial assistance with food, rent, mortgage payments, utility bills, and prescription medications with funds made payable on behalf of Hamilton County residents through funding from Hamilton County Government, Emergency Food and Shelter Board, Power Share, Project Water Help, and Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing revenue. Although walk-ins are welcome, it is preferred for clients to contact the main line for a prescreen to determine eligibility.

Eligibility:

Low income Hamilton County residents who reside outside the city limits of Chattanooga.

FOOD VOUCHERS: Bring Picture ID with a valid county address outside the Chattanooga City Limits and SS Cards for ALL household members. Clients will only be able to receive EAP Food Vouchers once every 3 months and from any other agency no more than once in any 30-day period.
