Description:

Assists families in transition from homelessness to permanent supportive housing in apartments and single-family homes scattered throughout the Knoxville area. Through tenant-based lease agreements, rental assistance supported by the program, and the long-term case management, the families are able to live independently and develop skills to maintain housing.

Program Fees:

No Fee - however, as part of the program, 30% of the families' monthly income is collected for investment in their future.

Eligibility:

Must be literally homeless (currently staying in emergency shelter, motel - paid by agency, car, street or fleeing domestic violence). Must be referred by an agency caseworker. Program regulations include full-time employment or completion of some type education training/school.
