Description:

Distributes clothing, furniture, and appliances for Veterans in need of the Red Cross or homeless veterans referred through the Memphis VA Hospital. Operates several programs that benefit Veterans. Operates thrift store. City Thrift will arrange for pickups (call 901-367-9888) of donated items for the local AmVet stores.

Mon - Sat 10:00 am - 8:00 pm; Sun 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Intake Process:

Walk in after referral is made at the Memphis VAMC hospital

Program Fees:

Discounts up to 25% on everything for eligible homeless veterans with referral

Eligibility:

Homeless veterans referred by VA Hospital are eligible for discounts off anything in the store. Thrift store is open to anyone.
