Additionally an FPJC case manager works with our guests to obtain sustainable housing, collaborates with community resources to obtain needed services, and assists the families to develop and achieve personal goals related to debt resolution, budgeting, obtaining employment, living a physically and emotionally healthy lifestyle, and parenting & interpersonal skills.
•Through IHN, FPJC provides temporary, transitional shelter for homeless families with children who are in need.
•We provide:
◦Overnight accommodations
◦Home-cooked meals
◦Assistance in housing/job searches
◦Life Skills (monthly) and Parenting (weekly) classes. These sessions are designed to provide our guests with information and skills that will help them become more independent. Some classes include topics on:
◦Money management
◦Credit counseling
◦Fire safety and first aid
◦Stress management
◦Job interviewing skills
◦Organizational skills
◦Gardening and canning

•Other services are aimed at helping our guests reach their goal of finding stable, long-term shelter, all at no cost to the families.
•FPJC can accommodate a maximum of 15 individuals (typically 3-5 families) in the program at one time.
•Families remain in the program for up to 90 days (we are not an emergency shelter).
